In todays Argus says that when our squad are all fit we are formidable and should avoid relegation without any problem. Is this a true view or just hype to make us think that we are better than we are thus giving them an advantage. I think it is a realistic view.

I'd say its a fair view. If we strengthen in the right places in January (Which I think we will) I reckon we will be ok.

He's correct. Although looking at the squad only tells half the story. It's no good if the manager is going to play the unfit ones instead of fit players, or our good players completely out of position, or leave the most consistent players on the bench.

Of course Danny Wilson hasn't been privy to the shere number of incompetent decisions being made.

Nor has he had the benefit of reading NSC for the past couple of months.

In fact ... he knows NOTHING.
Now why on EARTH would he need to read NSC, Ed? Afterall, NSC is just a sounding off site of people venting their spleen at just what a shit job Adams is making of this management lark second time around.

Because let's face it, he is.

Sad, but so very true.

Eh? What did anyone expect him to say?

"Brighton were rubbish. Adams hasn't got a clue. But they beat us by two clear goals. I have NO IDEA what I can do to get a result out of this worse than rubbish Swindon team" ?
I don't recall any of the managers of the other, erm, FOUR teams we managed to beat this season telling the press that we were world beaters, so I didn't necessarily expect Wilson to give us that impression either.

I wondered how long it would be before the "I told you so" bollocks would surface. I didn't expect it to be after our first win in eight games with the club perilously close to the drop zone, I must admit.

Hither and Thither
In the second half the ball dropped to Whing in the right-back position with Fleetwood in space in front of him. He attempted a pass - hit on the half-volley along the ground to Fleetwood. He mis-timed it and it went into touch. It was a difficult skill even for a professional lower league player - but he had a go at getting the ball forward on the floor - rather than hoofing it, or taking a touch and allowing the defender to get across to Fleetwood.

Immediately - a couple of people were on the feet having a go at Whing. It was ridiculous. How could that possible help. We was trying to do what we all want (the ball on the floor out wide) - but he simply mis-timed it.

It is clear these people had an agenda that they thought Whing was rubbish and were going to take every opportunity to have a go.

While I think he was being polite, I think he's right. I think he understates us, even. I think our squad has the talent to avoid relegation without problem even with several injuries, we just haven't been able to get that players playing their best.
