I saw him on Amazon All or Nothing Spurs documentary, good player but another load of trouble

Just got rid of two problems

I didn’t think he was any trouble. He didn’t want to go from Spurs to Bournemouth which is more than fair enough, why would he?

Decent farewell tribute from HornetBoy1 on the Watford forum:

Goodbye Danny Rose, though I hardly saw you at all, you had the grace to hold your stomach in, while those around you called (you overweight).
Even when you dived in, the high-press was not for you, all the papers had to say, was that Danny found eating food.
And it seems to me, you lived you life like a man who wanted to be thin, never knowing who to cling to when a cross came in
And I would have liked to known you, but we just got rid
Your candle burned out long before, the legend never did.

I'm not going to fat shame him but has he finished waddling to his motor yet?

Christ.

The lad's not right in the head, FFS.

So sad to see such a class act struggling to regain form, I think COVID had really done him, remember him described footballers being used as lab rats early in the pandemic and he's never really come to terms with football in the COVID era since.

If anyone could get a tune out of him I reckon GPott could, there's a hell of a player in there still.

Who would you want him to replace, Lamptey or Cucu? :ffsparr:

At the top of his game he's better than both of them, whether he will ever hit those incredible highs again remains to be seen but he's a good squad player with plenty of experience.

I was told a few years ago by a football agent based in Manchester that Rose was on his way to United. All the I S were dotted and the T s crossed , it fell through because United found he was a bit fragile, mentally.

I've seen some ridiculous posts on NSC before now, but this is right up there.
Better than Lamptey and Cucurella? Not having that at all.

He was an England star for years and one of the key players in a Tottingham side who consistently finished in the top 4 and challenged for major honours. We've got some good players in his position but they haven't hit the heights Danny Rose has hit in his career as of yet.

"As of yet" being the operative phrase, both have massive potential.

Rose was very good, he is now washed up and has fallen out of love with football by his own admission and looks forward to finishing his playing career.

Yet you suggest he'd be good for us when he sounds one of the least likely older ex England stars for the current Albion project.

Terrible wind up
