AFC Wimbledon! (in case you were wondering where he is these days)

AFC Wimbledon 1st Team Squad

Name: Daniel Webb
Date of Birth: 02/07/83
Birthplace: Poole
Height: 6'1
Former Clubs: Southampton, Southend United, Brighton & Hove Albion (Loan), Hull City, Lincoln City (Loan), Cambridge United, Yeovil Town, Rushden & Diamonds (Loan), Woking (Loan), Marsaxlokk (Malta)

Profile: Son of 70's Chelsea legend David Webb, Daniel, still only 24, is an experienced centre-forward who began his career as a trainee at Southampton before a £10,000 transfer to Southend in 2000. A loan spell at Brighton preceded a permanent move to Hull and then spells with Lincoln, Cambridge, Yeovil, Weymouth, Rushden and then Woking during the Spring of 2007, where a strong performance against Aldershot first brought him to the attention of Terry Brown. A short stint in Malta under Brian Talbot with Marsaxlokk this summer included an appearance in a Champions League qualifier against FK Sarajevo just one week before Daniel signed for AFC Wimbledon !

Oh I dunno, big Trevor Benjamin has just joined his FIFTEENTH club.

Outrageous, where is he now.

Whereas Webb always looked short of ability for me, Benjamin has always looked like he should have everything needed for a good career in high League One / low Championship, but he just can't put it altogether for any length of time. But that still doesn't explain why he doesn't find his level and settle at one club.

Funny how all these LOSERS pass through the Albion's hands at some point in their pointless careers

With a hit rate like that, theres a 1 in 6 chance he'd land here anyway, really, if you take the level of clubs that would sign them (championship -> conference national)

Was the Wimbledon game against Horley? If so my Young Cousin may well have made his debut against them. Anyone got any squad info for the Horley side?

Worrying thing is,i have this funny feeling that the end of last season was a bit of a fluke, and this season he will mostly be a LOOSER again:shrug:
Savage saved us last season. FACT.

We're not gonna get promoted, but we have more options this season when we go through a faze like we did last season when all goals dried up. Forster is the man who could get us the old goal in a tight game, or assist someone else to get the goal.
