He wasn't "de-banked". He was offered an account with another part of the same group. You or I won't get a Coutts account either - both of us could bank with NatWest.These are the facts as I understand them.
1. Nigel Farage was 'debanked' for holding views that were not in alignment with Coutts bank, nothing to do with whether he fell below the banks financial threshold.
2. Alison Rose then briefed a BBC journalist about the financial business of one of the banks customers (Nigel Farage)
If this were a non story as some of you are saying and there was no wrongdoing then why have both Alison Rose and now the Coutts Bank boss both resigned?
