Agree. Think the latter is likely. We probably wouldn't let him go if one or the other was true as we need three centre halves minimum until Huhnemeier comes back and Hall is apparently starting off in the development squad.

Hall I think is the depth and so Dal needs to play. Think this is an important loan for him to actually be a regular not bench player for them if he's going to step up though

Why? He's being loaned to League 2. Which suggests he isn't ready to play 2 divisions higher yet.

He's on a 2 year contract.

Maybe we view next year as his breakthrough season.
