Let him go on a free to anyone who he can agree terms with. No point him hanging around.
Not sure who will match his wages.

Most likely we'll loan him once again and be on the hook for most of what he earns

It's a shame he hasn't worked out. We haven't got too much wrong on transfers in the last year or two but this is a balls up and no doubt a costly one. I would imagine he will be on big money and have received a hefty signing on fee. Getting rid of him might be a challenge.
