Will be driving to Brighton, parking on the outskirts and cycling there. I gather there will be loads of cycle parking near Falmer station (told this at my presentation) I usually do this when travelling to Withdean or away games too.

Yes. An option, a bit longer than our Withdean cycle but will probably be quickest way home. Just what option to take if it's lashing down and blowing a gale...

17 minutes from Falmer to North Laine area. I will be riding most if not all Saturday games and many Tuesdays it is simply the quickest way without leaving before the final whistle.

Yes, we have worked it out that for a Saturday game, if we leave South Wales on the Wednesday, we will get to The Amex for the 3pm kick off, then start cycling back straight after the final whistle, we will get back to South Wales on the Tuesday evening, our fear is 2 Saturday games on the trot

There's minimal parking at Withdean though (which is why there's a line of bikes parked on the fences outside the main entrance) so it's bound to be an improvement. Did I hear that there's be 200+ parking places? That should be enough - there's parking at Falmer Station (although Mrs Gwylan had her bike nicked from there) and the Uni too. Just put lights in your pocket or pannier, that's what I do.
