Not that anyone was likely to pick him anyway - but our man Tommy V is out with a broken collarbone, having crashed in training today :(

Disappointed to see SB giving up before the season has even started, but hey ho.

So, they are both set up.

Use this link to go to the Leagues page.

Regular League ID is 77324
Purist League ID is 77325

If you want to run a team in both leagues you will need to use two different log ins, as us non premium paupers are only allowed one team each. I will certainly be running a team in each to help make up the numbers.

Can we reply to this post to keep it moving through the thread for the next few weeks, please. That way it will make sure everyone sees it who is likely to join.

New page.

You won't be saying that in Oct!!!

Why not?

Anyway, you going purist, normal game, or both?

Btw, just listened to that radio 4 programme I linked earlier. Nothing much new to add that hasn't been covered a thousand times over already.

I think the BBC should save on tired journalists costs and commission a cycling safety video made by actual cyclists who know what they're talking about on the nuts and bolts of staying safe on the road and leave it up on iplayer forever. Then broadcast links to it on their countless radio & tv trailers along with a P.O. Box address to send an S.A.E to for a free copy on dvd. That'll cover it.

Nah they need the sensational lunatic with a camera strapped on his head screaming at people, or else it's not worth doing.

Did anyone listen to this:-

Woe there Hamilton! You cannot just put the names of your riders in to the thread. It must be done in the now traditional format as used by SB yesterday :lolol:

So your team should read:

4 kangaroo chasers
2 sauerkraut eaters
1 straw donkey seller
1 pizza maker
and 1 sheep fancier

Or something like that

Apologies.

4 waltzing Matildas
A couple of lederhosen thigh slaps
A flamenco stamp
The commedia dell'arte
And a Nantgarw jig

I'm setting up a team - why not.

Just one question (sorry to ask basic stuff), what is the diffirence between 'purist' and 'regular'?

You can change a regular team with 2 substitutions per day.
For purist the team you start with is the one you finish with.
