When I was a young'un I used to hear that curveballs didn't break -- that it was all an optical illusion.
Some one of the old pitchers -- Dizzy Dean -- used to say "You go stand behind a telephone pole 60' 6" away and I'll beat your brains out with an 'optical illusion'".
This explanation is simple and elegant -- everyone was right! -- and the graphics are wonderful.
