Agra Balti House.

would echo the stay clear of nooris message. they have seriously gone down hill recently and agra has been a good alternative.

my favourite indian restaurant (not curry house!) is memories of India at the Marina. A tad pricey but as wide a selection of new dishes (as well as old favourites) as I've seen outside of asia.

If you walk the London Road from the match, just stop into RAJ, which is on the strip between Preston Park and Preston Circus (violet sign on the front).

Brilliant food and service, and if you are pleasant to the staff they give you a complimentary glass of a little something (last Sat. it was a rather fine port  )
Make sure you order the nan bread with almond in it, it's ace!

Nooris recently fined for dirty kitchens, etc. Agra is better and cleaner.
