Any recommendations ? last year went to Brick lane and choose a poor curry house .....so ..Brick Lane / Charing Cross or any other suggestions welcome

There is a good pub near there too.

Quite a few vegetarian Indians round there, it's often of a much better quality than the meaty ones.

Go to Warren Street and cross over the main road to Regents Place and at the back of there are loads of veggie curry houses and very good food.

Best curry house on Brick Lane is Shampan. It's got pink neons and is one the corner of Hanbury Street. Mega bonza grub mate!

Wow, forgotten all about that place, it is excellent. Used to go there for lunch Fridays when worked in Stanhope Street (gulp) 20 years ago.

Ghurkas in Maze Hill. Completely out of the way, but darn fine ruby. Don't go to Curry Asia in Woolwich. I saw a mouse running around their bar when I was waiting for my take away last night.

Lahore Kebab House in Commercial Road....brilliant place...seats 350. Went there after Orient last year followed by a trip to Browns.....won't be going there again as bouncers were not nice!
