Darren Currie returned to training this morning after the end of his loan at Coventry but the Sky Blues are in discussion with Town over signing the winger.
The 32-year-old is out of contract at Portman Road in the summer and having enjoyed a successful loan spell at the Ricoh Arena has indicated that he would be keen on a permanent switch to the midlands club.
"Darren is back with us and was training with the rest of the first-team players this morning," Town boss Jim Magilton told the Club website.
"Coventry are interested in signing him and we are in negotiations with them but at the moment he's our player and will be in consideration for a place in the side along with the rest of the squad."

I am a fan of Darren Currie but if this saga carries on much longer he'll be able to use his free bus pass to get to training each day.

No, I agree completely. A young speedy winger would fit in much better for us.
he was never quik but he really is past it, and what do we do at end of next season, we search again, because he is never going to be good then

Currie's always struck me as a player who poses a dilemma like the one you get when you find some cheese in the fridge past its sell by date. Bit of a risk but might still be ok.

I'm sure Gillespie will leave Cheltenham, but he will surely get better offers than from us?
The best winger at B'muff was Max Gradel, not Kuffour, but he was there on loan from Leicester. No idea whether he is considered 'available, but I would love to see him here.

Bearing in mind that Leicester are in this league I cannot see them loaning Gradel to another side in the division.
Also based on the impact he has had for Bournemouth this season, I would think he will feature for Leicester next season.
