I am still in a seeming minority who are unconvinced by the prospect of Curry returning but Adams is clearly building a very solid squad. On the basis of what he has done so far I reckon we can expect another striker plus the much needed experienced left back. If we hit the ground running this could be a fun season:drool:

Eh???? So was I before this but have you read the story? Adam's states that we've agreed terms with Currie for Christ's sake! Just waiting on Luton to sign some paperwork and they've already said that he can leave on a free anyway.

I have to say I'm getting a bit worried by our wage bill and all these oldies coming back to Brighton. I hope they're all on short contracts and know that, if they don't perform, they're out. Mind you I don't really understand our club any more. We seem to prefer bringing back a whole load of old crap (who moved on to supposed better things and all failed) and wacking them on our cash commitments for a few years is better than bringing on a team of solid, local talent and showing clear year on year progress. Let's hope I'm wrong.

Was he really that good??

Did you get delayed on your flight at all as i hear some never made the game?

I thought he ran the show second half, breaking late into the box and getting a couple of shots in, he also took a couple of decent corners

I know it was against week opposition, but he looked the part

I wasnt delayed as we flew out on tuesday afternoon, I think the last flight that made it from Gatwick to Dublin was 10am, which was carrying the other 20 or so Brighton fans that made it to the game

Probably about 30 in total that made it, we had a good old sing song second half
Gate was not much more than 300

Currie delivers a superb dead ball be it corner or free kick and we should all accept corners have been a joke with us over the last few seasons to the point where we can't even deliver the ball into the box.

Well worth a punt of Currie IMHO

What's the story say about Currie? Argus website is down.

Basically, we have agreed terms with Currie. It is now, I guess, up to either Brightno and Luton to thrash out a deal or Currie to call it quits with the monay that is owed to him. The remainder of his contract and possibly back pay.
