Who would you like to see manage the stripes if Adams was sacked?

Would Curbs and Pardew come here?

I would love to see Pardew and give him THREE YEARS to build (the length Wilkins should got)

So Wilkins and Pardew are allowed THREE YEARS, but Adams should be sacked after less than a year. Good reasoning there numbnuts.

Because the whole approach by Adams is just wrong, he has taken the whole squad drastically backwards with no sign of improvement.

Plus he also expects the fans to respect him for something that was achieved almost a decade ago.

But I'm sorry, I do not want to keep boasting success that happened a decade ago, I would like to remember we were successful briefly, but I want their to be a driven mentality of hunger for new success, and constantly honoring the past doesn't make you hungry for more.

Its why Man United have been so successful and this club has been utterly shit.

Harsh, but its a true fact. That's life.

Pardew would come i think, however he is a dick of the highest order

He has character, I personally like him and he has hungry for success. A club with (potentially) a new stadium may suit him.

Pardew has virtually taken charlton to the third division and Curbishley will probably get another job in the prem.
Man Utd are successful because they have more money than anyone else, and the best manager for a generation.
You need to think before you spam the board with this shit.

And yet Adams shouldn't get that amount of time ???

I don't want either, yet, quite prepared to give Adams until Christmas to turn it around.

And why is Ferguson the most successful manager ever? Because he makes his team hungry for more by forgetting what they achieved and keep focusing on the past. This is with anything, not just football. You could argue the same with Federer being the most successful tennis player of all time.

Chelsea have money, and they won tournaments, but they never had someone to help them focus on their next prize didn't they?

Its not all about money, have the right attitude when you want something and you will get it.

It's the difference what makes a good and bad coach.

Don't forget if Adams does get sacked we could go for Adams (Tony) some good old fashioned defensive training from the number one hoofer, I'm sure he's up for a new challenge and with his connection to Arsenal maybe a few good loan players might come down to play at the Withdean. But I still think Adams (Micky) will still be here next season, the difference with his term as manager this time is that the players he has now are not as together as last time and we haven't got a Zamora banging in goals for fun!!

You might as well call the thread 'Hiddink or Capello for Withdean'.

I don't think either Curbishley or Pardew would even consider managing a club in League One, let alone League Two (if that's where Adams is taking us). Curbishley is still trying to sort out his mess at West Ham with his lawyer so I don't see him taking up any position until that is sorted, and as for Pardew I don't think he's the right man for the Albion. My choice if we had to make one would be someone like Danny Wilson but he's only just taken the Swindon job, so that's unlikely to happen.

Thats just wrong though, isn't it. The squad this year is considerably better than the squad we had this time last year. Adams has f***ed up on a number of occassions tactically, but making the squad worse? Not a chance.
