Just caught "the safe house" tonight very good as always. Are they showing an episode a night?

According to Wikipedia this episode was the second in series 8. The first episode titled the Divorce. I know Wiki aren't always accurate but would hate to think I've missed the first episode. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I always manage to miss the first episode of a new Curb series.

Can't wait to watch, though I am dreading the one which Gervais apparently makes a cameo in.

I must admit to being very drunk last week but from what I can remember Cheryl walks out on him and wants a divorce.
LD goes to a Jewish lawyer but gets very upset when he's not Jewish at all.
Cheryl gets the house as part of the settlement.

It's definitely a slow burner. First few episodes wasn't massively impressed, but once you start to understand the the mindset of Larry David and the rest of the characters it's pure genius.

I've seen the guy in interviews and he's had me cracking up, but that program just doesn't make me laugh. However, I'm not one to judge what I do not know, so I shall watch it and come back with a well observed review. Edge of your seat stuff, I know.

You won't be disappointed once you've given it a bit of time. The series get better and better peaking at series 4 & 5.

Series 8 just finished over here.

Best episodes were “Palestinian Chicken” and “Larry versus Michael J Fox”

Best line was when Sammi, who is Susie’s daughter, says to Larry “Now get the f*** out of my driveway, you bald prick”

Just watched episode 1 on this link http://www.videobb.com/watch_video.php?v=ubSZ8MFNGRJq

Pretty pretty pretty disappointing. Seems to be going the way of most comedies that run for a number of years. Instead of developing fresh ideas and new characters they just revert to shock comedy to make up for the lacks of laughs. Hopefully the remainder of the series picks up, but series 7 was hit and miss and best.
