Except for the fact that I'm going to Wembley to see Bruce Springsteen in a couple of weeks (so please leave it tidy) I'd quite like a giant sinkhole to open up under the stadium tomorrow .
I marginally prefer Man Utd but that's only because I support any team that plays your Noddy lot

After a second of consideration you can feck right off if you think cheering for you tossers is good for the game. The frigging irony of a palace fan talking about 'good for the game' as if they held the moral high ground. Why did Bozza activate the swear filter on here? Just when it's needed the most.

Spot on. How any Palace fan can honestly say that a club who has stolen money twice in a decade should be cheered on and be convinced that their winning would be good for the game is incredible. Now if they had been Aldershot, Accrington, Chester or Maidstone in their position, who paid the full price of administration and built again then yes. I would be cheering them on against the like of Manchester United, but not the Palace, who achieved surviving twice in a decade at other peoples expense, then it is a big NO from me.

Given that they are both vile clubs, I think a Palace win has the best comedy potential..
1. LVG sacked and MU chaos
2.Palace in Europe with thin squad and unstable manager. What could possibly go wrong?

As you Palace fans point out on a regular basis, we are all Man Utd fans really so why wouldn't we want our 'proper' team to beat you all.

Any chance we can get Eric Cantona to make a one-off special appearance?

I am genuinely a bit sorry for Palace fans, PL, FA Cup Final...seems they have it all, but you can't re-write their history

I've put a £10 on Palarse to win (6-1), because i never win football bets. I hate both clubs with an absolute passion, but I think I could cope with a theiving Manc win (just).

If Palarse win then the £60 will be a nice touch to alleviate my hatred of all things Palarse.

You should win a lot more that £60 if Palace win 6-1!

Not a bad strategy, winnings to St John's ambulance

The 1990 final, I wanted to support Man United, but lived (as a student) with a guy from Derby who was the worst kind of Man Utd fan, never been etc etc but got on my nerves enough to enjoy watching Ian Wright come on and turn the match. However, one man has me going completely the other way.. Mr Pardew.. I cannot stand him.. I enjoy our rivalry with Palace, but am not blinded with dislike for them - except for him.. so smug when things go well. I cant believe the easy ride he has had this season, going under the radar because of the "bigger" stories at Newcastle, Sunderland etc.. The Palace slide since the New Year has been nothing but spectacular, and if the season were 2 or 3 weeks longer then they would have been right in it.. I would like nothing more than to see his face following a defeat.. I expect the game to be horribly close, and wouldn't be that surprised if Palace won even, but I hope not.. sorry SE20, not blindly anti-Palace, just anti-Pardew... a cup final defeat, no momentum, and more difficult to attract the top players... lovely..

Thats the thing, the true Crystal Palace are history prior to 2000. This new one should have gone the route of the other clubs I mentioned.

If only we had a rich sugar daddy to pump in 250 Million. Surely you can understand the excitement of a final at Wembley?. Silly me, of course you cannot :rave:

There's me thinking you have just taken on two such daddies from America to rebuild the sh*t house. Silly me.

You will be telling me next that these two guys have been Palace fans all their lives like Tony Bloom with Brighton.

If MOST of the other clubs had wanted or even tried to win it then neither of these clubs would be in this final.
Even some Div 2 clubs in with a chance of promotion fielded weakened sides.
Until they start taking it seriously and make the cup what it used to be then, unfortunately, it's now noddy.
And this final is its lowest ebb.
But enjoy your day but quite frankly I don't give a damn and as far as I can see neither does anybody else.

This final will be called The Apollo 13 final.
Your big day comes along and you get all excited and keyed up, then nobody cares or watches it until something bad happens( Pardew self combusts, Palace 6-0 down at half time, plague of locusts etc) then the whole world tunes in to see if you are going to die or not.

Crying because of yet another play off failure I suppose we couldn't expect anything else eh

"We're coming for you we're coming for you Crystal Palace we're coming for you" Oh dear

Look at the state of that. A child would have done better. Shoddy.

The Ultras are sharpening their crayons in preparation for a new picture to draw. Previous efforts were truly spectacular.

No you are right. The FA cup is now worthless, noddy, nobody else tries in it as its not worth winning. But if Brighton were in the final(Brighton and final :lolol:), it would be the greatest domestic cup competition in the world :bla::bla::bla: If only we had won something in 1910

It's the Satanic cup final as someone else on here said previously.

I despise both teams but obviously would prefer the scum from the North rather than the scum from up the road to win.

However, a cup final has never been less attractive a proposition to watch so I'm just glad that I'll be at Headingly watching the test and ignoring the fact that it's even happening.

The way England's top order batted yesterday you may need a back up plan for Sunday :( Enjoy it if you do see a days play
