No, but just about ready for Dorothy's dog in the wizard of oz.Is their new stand InterToto Cup ready?
Apparently that honour goes to Birmingham City 10 years previously. More made up nonsense from the Croydon mobCan we stop the 'Ever seen Palace in Milan' song ?
The Anglo-Italian was still a competitive trophy trophy and they were the first ever English team to win at the San Siro...
Our resident song writers could do with consulting the old farts of NSC or, at the very minimum, a search engine.
Precisely!Wasn't writing in to enter that competition a bit like firing off a request to 'Jim'll Fix It'?
Definitely not true, they were 10 years too late for that claim to fameCan we stop the 'Ever seen Palace in Milan' song ?

When Palace finished 3rd in 1991 there was no ban. So it’s an argument they can’t hide behind anyway.Palace have never qualified for Europe.
End of.
(Don’t care about all the “but if English clubs not been banned from Europe…” File under “But if my auntie had…”)
In that case why weren't they in Europe then? When Palace finished 3rd in 1991 there was no ban. So it’s an argument they can’t hide behind anyway.
Because 3rd place didn’t qualify then. 1st got European Cup, 2nd UEFA Cup and FA Cup winners Cup Winners Cup.In that case why weren't they in Europe then?
Wow, I forgot it was so much smaller. Of course the so called champions league has distorted everything.Because 3rd place didn’t qualify then. 1st got European Cup, 2nd UEFA Cup and FA Cup winners Cup Winners Cup.
The 1990-91 season we actually ended up with 2 teams qualifying for the Cup Winners Cup. Spurs won the FA Cup and Man Utd also qualified as they won the Cup Winners Cup so entered the following season as defending champions.Wow, I forgot it was so much smaller. Of course the so called champions league has distorted everything.
I shall sit in a dark room for a few minutes and contemplate as to how I believed such drivel. I've embarrassed myself there.Apparently that honour goes to Birmingham City 10 years previously. More made up nonsense from the Croydon mob
So arguably they could blame Liverpool for that but, as we know, Liverpool are never to blame for anything and have only ever been wrongly blamed for things. There’s a debate to be had there one day ….The 1990-91 season we actually ended up with 2 teams qualifying for the Cup Winners Cup. Pre the ban we did have more places in the UEFA cup, but they were lost when the ban was lifted, so I suppose Palace could technically grumble about that, but it’s clutching at straws.
Liverpool could be blamed, but at the same time had there been no ban no one knows what could have happened. All we can state as a fact is that when Palace finished 3rd there was no ban preventing them from entering Europe which is what they like to claim. So arguably they could blame Liverpool for that but, as we know, Liverpool are never to blame for anything and have only ever been wrongly blamed for things. Maybe the people who replied to a thread specifically named as a palace related thread care?Who cares?
This is about us, not them.
