I have to say, that was much more enjoyable than i'd anticipated. A good laugh, with some decent people.

Legendary performance from 'badger', and the Crocs were damn good too!

Thanks all:clap:

The Crocs today stretched their unbeaten run to 3 games following a 9-8 victory at a wet and windy Triangle Soccerdome. In an even game, a capacity crowd thought they had seen NSC pick up their first victory over the Yellow Amphibians as they lead 8-6 with time running out

However, the infamous "never say die attitude" of the Crocs saw them pull it back to 8-8, despite the superb efforts of Cereal Killer between the posts. With time running out, it was the Crocs who snatched a late goal, and despite pressure deep into injury time, the sultans of flair hung on to take all 3 points

Speaking after the game, Crocs goalkeeper Scott McCarthy said: "I was always confident we would get the victory, and I wanted it even moreso than normal seeing as we were playing at my 7-a-side home ground. The disapointment was there for all to see when we were 8-6 down, it was like enjoying 3 hours of foreplay with Magaret Becket, only for her to walk out, just as you thought you were going to penetrate. However, just like in a rape, they found us difficult to keep down, and I was delighted when we popped up with 3 late goals to win the game. Defensively, we played like 3 virgins, with myself, Clayton and Hewitt being as tight as possible. In midfield, I thought debutant Upton looked lively, while Potter was his prawn like self - looked harmless, but then would cut the opposition down with his food posioning of ability. And up front, what can you say? Witham performed as heroically as Admiral Nelson himself, while Tom Stewart was handy like a pick axe in all he did. While NSC will be disapointed with the result, and we ran out winners, I think both teams can leave happy today, knowing that the only real winner is the game of football itself, and the charities that we have raised nothing towards. I like forward to the next game immensely"
