And call me old fashioned, but I just love sitting in the garden listening to the cricket on the radio on a warm sunny day.

I like all forms of Cricket, but the 5 day test is my preferred choice.

I prefer the 40/50 over format if pushed - partly because Sussex have always seemed to be so damned good at it + you see a result in a day + it blends skills required in both the long and short format + when played at Arundel in particular it makes a very pleasant day out in wonderful surroundings.

Nothing beats a test match, it's proper cricket that can have so many twists and turns over 5 days. T20 is a good laugh but a lot of it is down to luck.

Whilst T20 can be entertaining for a few hours, cricket purists will always go for the ultimate challenage of the 5-day test. Mental & physical strength essential and the ebb & flow of "who's winning" in the form of chess on grass - never dull if you trully understand the game.

oldalbiongirl can stick to more exciting sports like speed knitting.

All of them, but there is something special about listening to* the Test match on a sunny summer's day.

*as opposed to watching, unless you can get a ticket.

Gone for 40/50 overs as I don't have the concentration for 5 days even though I've been playing for 18 years.

T20 is very exciting but can't quite get my head round the idiots who are amazed a team can score 160 in 20 overs. I spent 10 years playing 20 overs and often we hit or were hit for 150+ runs and this was without all the faf of feilding restrictions

This. Anyone who says cricket is boring obviously didn't watch the 2005 Ashes series, one of the greatest sporting dramas of all time.
