I had "Long Hot Summer" By Style Council, and "Perfect Kiss", By New Order.

I hadnt thought of Ashes to Ashes but Lets Dance had crossed my mind:)

these were the first 17 that sprang to mind

1.Tainted Love-Soft Cell
2.Dont you want me?-Human League
3.Planet Earth-Duran Duran
4.You Spin Me Right Round-Dead or Alive
5.Take on Me-A-Ha
6.Karma Chameleon-Culture Club
7.Two Tribes-Frankie Goes To Hollywood
8.Jump-Van Halen
9.Living on a Prayer-Bon Jovi
10.Call Me-Blondie
11.Perfect Kiss-New Order
12.Love Town-Booker Newberry 3
13.White Lines-Grandmaster Flash
14.Word Up-Cameo
15.Digging Your Scene-Blow Monkeys
16.Scandal-Queen
17.Crazy Nights-KISS

but then I realised I'd left off alot of songs I liked...but I am quite keen on most of the selection there

Peter Shelley - Homosapian
Grandmaster Flash - The message
Associates - Party fears too
Echo & the Bunnymen - Killing moon

Polegate
I'd add:

Huey Lewis and the News - Power of Love

into that list, a very 80's track

I'd swap Atomic for Call Me, a far better song. Personal taste would dictate that Say Hello Wave Goodbye replaces Tainted Love and all the rock tracks replaced by Dead Kennedys - Holiday in Cambodia but that's just my taste.

Ghost Town should be there and a Smiths track as well.
