Yeah it's still there and yeah still a dive .
I knew you'd be pure chuckles simply from your comedy user name.

We used to have a couple of similarly simple Leyton Orient fans on here back in the day. They're about six times bigger than your club but sadly none of them were funny enough to call themselves "Red Half Of East London" or similar.

Can you see why that might have been a properly funny user name or do you want me to explain it to you?

Out of interest is that dive of a pub The White Hart still going? I worked in creepy for 13 years and had the misfortune of having to visit it many times.
Dj'd there recently in the barn out the back ... ' interesting ' ...
Unusually for the area they sell Harveys .

Bless. It's almost as if you've discovered the word "melt" and now can't resist using it everywhere.

Are you a teenager or just a very embarrassing grown up?
Sums up Crawley

West is BEST
I worked in Crawley for a few weekends. homophobic idiots throwing bottles at customers leaving Bar7 and the same bitter, failed at life, scrag-ends fighting outside metro cabs and Troy’s kebabs at kicking out time, week in week out.
Their girlfriends yelling “Riley, he ain’t worf it babe” with mascara running down their fake tanned cheeks.

Not one fit bird in the whole town. All of them look like 10 lbs of shit in a 5 lb bag.

Oh and the lovely Mauritian gangs and homeless drunks by Betfred.

Absolute toilet.

At last a sensible post and not the hysterical over reaction from so many melts on here
A premier league team comes up against a league one side and shock ,horror it's a little to physical and they're actually putting themselves about .Its interesting the Brighton manager said before the game he was treating it like a Premier league match ,well league one teams aren't Premier league and will be more physical because the difference in standard between the players is very noticeable.
Crawley played some good football but the movement of the ball from Brighton players was so quick and at times the Crawley players were struggling to keep up with it .Its why there was some shitt pulling and a few late tackles ..Take away the Jay Williams tackle on O Riley ,which was a bad challenge,it wasn't an overly dirty match .Even the red card wasn't that bad ,the Brighton player was up on his feet in 20 seconds and shrugged it off .
Jay Williams is an aggressive tackler ,he plays like that most of the time ,In your face ,letting the opposition know he's there etc etc .Doesn't mean the challenge was ok ,but don't use that to slag off the whole team ,fans and as usual the town itself ....As I say there were a few tired tackles and pulls and tugs because as Crawley players tired the Brighton players went up a gear and the movement and quick passing was the difference between premier league players and league one /two players.

As for the Brighton fans ,Jesus ,do they take sleeping tablets before they go to games .
Did the noisier ones stay at home for this game .Funny lot of supporters ,seems a very middle class vibe and happy clappy feel about the place .
I won't even talk about the trains ,jesus ,no wonder you lot are so quiet ,to busy planning wondering if you need to leave 20 minutes early to avoid the wait .
I won't wish you well for the season nor will I hope you tumble back to the championship, where you really do belong because for all the melts on here trying to get some kind of rivalry started Crawley just aren't interested , Brighton have never been on the radar in the town and never will be ,not untill you eventually slip down the leagues and we get to play you more often.
Oh ,sort the parking out in Brighton and tidy up London Road and do something with the graffiti and replace the pebbled beach with sand blah.blah ,blah.
Requests yhat people don't use the tackle to slag off the team and fans, then proceeds to slag of our team, fans and city.

What a strange individual.

I love it when my fellow Albion fans tell me what a shithole I live in, and as proof, they cite experiences of the 70's and 80's, or the more recent antics of drunks and the homeless in Crawleys equivalent of West Street or London Rd. on a Saturday night.
It's especially lovely to hear that the extensive knowledge includes that my wife and daughter, must look like 10 pounds of shit in a 5 pound bag, as there are absolutely no "fit birds" in Crawley.
It's truly amazing that any of you have lived to tell the tales, of surviving a trip to the bad lands of North Sussex, you brave little soldiers.

No, I don't think it's ok ,however ,it was a mildly clummsy attempt to win the ball cleanly .Not the players fault if the opportent passes the ball before he's ready to tackle .He didn't actually wink and smile after the incident , he actually has a mild disposition that makes him blink and twitch after he's kicked someone .
I only ever played at a very low level but had occasion to witness `mildly clumsy attempts to win the ball cleanly` many times . Thankfully for every atrocity there were some very generous tackles where a player held back , because as an older head once told me `the man has to work tomorrow - earn a living - he can`t afford stupid sick days `.

A favourite recuring dream i have after a disgrace like last nights when someone does what your bloke did to our Matt is picturing Tommy Smith and Sammy Morgan both on the same side , playing the same way as your lad did, that would make him `blink and twitch` . That tackle could literally end the mans career .

You can tell he’s lost his head because he’s struggling to differentiate between the space bar, comma and full stop. Do you even have any public transport to your ground or is it just a black hole of humanity?

Loosen your belt a notch and have a nice lie down. After what we witnessed last night it should be very obvious to you why some posts have this tone, especially with the vacuous contributions from your fellow townsfolk. FWIW, my wife grew up in Crawley and I still think she’s a cracker despite us both being in our late 60s. Er, mind you, I’ve had a few sherries.

Don’t worry, I live in Lancing, the town that banned mirrors.

😉

And we don’t even have pubs for people to fight outside.
