I care no more for Crawley than I do for any other team in League, err, it is One isn't it?
Makes us sound very arrogant, don't forget we were in that league a good 6/7 years.

This.
Last time I went to Crawley I couldn't wait to get out, and that was only on a shopping trip to their horrid mall chock-full of chavs (it really was!). Swearing teenage mothers hitting their toddlers, people barging into us, and enough fake tan on show to re-paint all the sheds in Brighton.
They must be disappointed with the crowd, only 2678. Thought they might of sold out for this game.

My Mrs and her mate went to the market at Brighton race course on Sunday morning.
Never has she seen so many fat and ugly people converged in one place.
Needless to say she got out of there pretty quick.
I like Crawley simply because they always let us win 3-0.
No they don't.
Sounds like you talk a lot of shit mate.
It seems to be a Brighton myth about this Crawley/ Palace stuff.
How would i know, well, having lived in Crawley for the last 40 years tends to give you a good idea about who supports who.
But don't trouble yourself i'm sure you have a a busy weekend planned in Brighton this weekend
I live in 8 miles away from Crawley and it is a working class town, but where is the shame in that? Of course there are chavs but there are also JOBS that pay enough to enable the inhabitants to actually live there, you can drive around in Crawley, and crucially you can PARK inexpensively, and most importantly, things actually get done in Crawley. It was a hideous place in the 60s, 70s and 80s but things are improving.This.

Half their fans support Palace as well. If you are really that happy about them winning good for you, but I doubt anyone on a Brighton forum gives two shits.
Correct. It hasn't really been a true BHA or Palace town for as long as I can remember. Perhaps it was in the halcyon days of the late 70s when both clubs were on their way to division one? There are SOME Palace fans in Crawley, like there are SOME BHA fans there too.
It was mainly a Spurs/West Ham town when it was originally a 'New Town', but nowadays it's full of Chelski.

The snobbery of certain residents of greater-Brighton & Hove just beggers belief. Naturally, I like Brighton but you need to open your eyes to some of the problems it has. London Road, appalling traffic, no local jobs meaning loads have to commute to London to pay the mortgage, and nothing ever gets built - such intransigence has led to the iconinc West Pier fall into the sea, which is shameful.
Oh and I see you're from Portslade - one of the biggest shitholes on the Sussex coast. True irony.
