The facebook rumour. It's unsubstantiated. Saying it's a growing problem (becoming a "major problem") is not relevant to the issue of Craig Thomson's acts or his subsequent punishment at all. It's simply sensationalising the whole issue and serves no purpose other than attempting to get the pitchforks in the air.

My point was simple: this is a serious issue - Thomson's act was terrible - but that doesn't mean it needs to be made out to be even worse. That's how shit like this happens: Doctor driven out of home by vigilantes

It's not "therefore" though, is it? You're not calling for him to be sacked because he can't run youth training sessions, you're calling for him to be sacked for having committed a (very serious) crime. The "job requirements" is just your excuse for sacking him.

Anyone suggesting that he should be allowed a second chance quite clearly meant he should be allowed to prove he has successfully put his actions behind him. It's quite obvious that nobody meant he should be allowed a 2nd chance to abuse a child.

IMHO, it was his fault. I have no doubt about it.

Whoever's fault it was though, it was wrong, and nobody is disagreeing with that. Even those arguing it isn't his fault aren't claiming "paedophilia is ok". That is, again, entirely your twisting of it all to try to make an already-sickening incident seem even worse. I don't see why you need to do this, but then I also don't understand why you've twice said you're quitting NSC and then come back and posted again, so what do I know...?

as, as stated above he will be working with children at points in his career. I dont think thats a risk that should be put on the kids.

As for me leaving i have asked for account to be deactivated but ya keep coming back asking me more questions.
