Unbelievable excitement the day he signed for us, and going into that season with load of others. Good luck to the man, he did alright for us just never hit the dizzy expectation heights of Posh days. Still some wonderful memories and boy did he put a shift in.

Yup, such a genuine buzz when we all posed for photos with our (£3M?) Marquee Signing at pre-season friendly at Burgess Hill. Seemed like a new era. Seemed like a decent genuine lad as well. Shame things never really worked out for him here. It certainly wasn't through lack of effort. Wishing CMS all good things for his retirement :clap2:

His signing was the start of the modern Brighton & Hove Albion. It didn’t really work out, but it was the first time it felt like we really were on the way to the big time.
