RIP Craig - dreadful news . One if not the favourite band of mine as a student. This is how it feels is up there with some of the greatest songs written. Saw them at the Top Rank Suite in 1990 when they were touring the Life album

I think I was at that Reading did they come on with a marching band?

Not only is that a fantastic looking line up, I'm sure there are festivals looking at most of those bands this coming summer.

I've found a better picture of the line up, and I now know why I don't really remember the main stage acts.
I was at the Mean Fiddler Stage, certainly on the Friday and Sunday:-

RIP

Was on the local news just a moment ago, he was talking about Manchester opening it's own Music Museum, which would be amazing frankly. It would have been well placed at the old Hacienda Club before they turned it into flats but these days all Manchester wants to do is build supertall high rises for the rich.

I got into the Inspiral Carpets in the early-mid 90's and love them so this is genuinely shit news.

Used to love their t-shirts too. Anyone got an original of this?

I have one of those t-shirts and still wear it.

That would have been Reading 1990:-
