I think you're wrong there Chris. Owusu had those two quick attempts infront of goal in the first half, in which Gueret made two quite comfortable saves.

no confidence is correct but today confirmed to me that he hasn't the balls to put himself in the poisition to have a go. I have a niggling feeling that there is a decent striker in there somewhere, it's just that he is not the sort of striker that you need in what was a relegation fight but seems to have turned into a relegation wimper.

Today was the worst example of forward play from a front two, I've seen, in 44 yrs of supporting BHA.
The appalling midfield behind them didn't help but honestly, these two are the pits!
Fans go on about Davies' workrate but thats because he has NOTHING ELSE !!! I struggle to think of a Brighton striker in living memory, with less technical ability. He is just so bad, its laughable.

I'm in the 'decent player in there somewhere' camp. The miss was terrible, but at least he got himself in that position. At Orient he held the ball up well and worked hard, and in a side on song I reckon he could get a hatfull. Doesn't look like we'll get a chance to find out though...

If Davies is trying, i would hate to see him when he's not trying.
He's a forward. Forwards are meant to score goals. How many goals has he scored this season?

And how many sitters has he missed?

I think it was unfair to go to the extent we did perhaps, but it was heat of the moment ( I honestly believe we could've got a point if he'd have scored). He could probably cut it at a mid-table League One side in 5 years time as a winger, but he is never a striker, and an inexperienced player that can't score goals is not what you need in a relegation dogfight.

Great performance from Whing today, as ever. Also felt Cox worked his socks off, but maybe tried a bit too hard. Kuipers, Cox and Whing were the only players who seemed to give a shit about this football club and the situation we are currently in.

davies is a good player. with a bit of confidence he'd score some goals. shame he has none at the moment.

as for owusu, he is an absolutely disgusting excuse for a striker. i never want to see that man again.
