Craig Davies - What has he done wrong?

I can't believe that Slade chose to bring on Gary Hart last night in preference to Davies. Is Davies being lined up for a move out of the club before the transfer deadline? Or does Slade not perhaps rate him? With Forster clearly having lost some of his pace, it would be good to see Davies being given a run out alongside Dickinson. Bennett, Davies and Dickinson should scare most defences to death with their pace and movement.

He deserves a chance really i think because his pace alongside Dickinson would cause trouble, but something is going on there i think because he was at the Brentford game in his tracksuit but not in the squad for that day, but was on the pitch, if he wasn't included in the original squad given by Slade then why would he travel, and if he did then why wouldn't he be in the stands like OGH was that day?

True, Mr Slade seems to be making some points with his Team selection & Substitutions at the moment. I think Davies running at the Millwall defence for the last 10 last night, would have caused them problems.

I thought last night that hart wasn't the right choice as sub, he was obviously put on to get in the defenders faces and hassle but we lost a lot of pace up front which davies could have provided. I hope he gets a chance as I think he'll come good for us.

From my understanding, he's not in RS plans at the moment and is available for a short-term loan move, however he won't be moving on at the moment unless something else happens.

Hawkins and Livermore are both available on free transfers but the club can't really terminate their deals as they both have two years left and are both on quite hefty wages for a League One club.

Davies didn't have the best of starts when he came in last season and his preseason was poor culminating in getting a red card and nearly missing the start of the real season through suspension. Probably pissed Slade off.

Hart on the other hand, was awesome last season for the last 7-8 games. That being said, I would have liked to have seen some pace next to Dickinson when they were pushing on last night.

I think that's a pretty fair assessment.

I rekon davies will need a few injuries before he gets a sniff at first team football, which is a shame because I think he's got alot more to offer than he showed last season
