Having met a number of the Crystals at this years REMF match I can confirm none of them were dogs, mingers, slappers or indeed covered in dogshit. They were properly lovely girls, enthusiastic, pretty and confident, and did tremendous work helping sell raffle tickets. When at half time they came on to dance the PA packed up, they danced in silence. Perhaps those who commented so unpleasantly on this thread should come to the next REMF match, buy a raffle ticket, and see for themselves.

This

Embarrassed to see some fellow club supporters making such unpleasant comments as those referred to above.

If having personal knowledge of something was a pre requisite of nsc, then half the stuff on here would never get posted......and that includes the Palace fan comment related to women at 00.26 this morning

I think they are very good at what they do, but just don't like the idea of cheerleaders and agree with comments about Americanisation.

I would say something about exploitation, but they are all probably doing it perfectly willingly, if not enthusiastically. But I am not sure I would want a daughter of mine doing it and being lusted over as they will be.

But maybe we should conform to our stereotype and recruit some male cheerleaders - and no, I'm not being entirely serious.

They seem like a decent bunch, its just a shame that they support palace. Good luck to 'em I say.

Under all that fake tan, they are dogs, and Palarse dogs at that. I had to turn it off after 20 seconds to stop myself being sick.
Not the sort of image we would want for a family orientated club like BHAFC.

really...have you met them? have you spoken to them?

I actually have , introducing them at the REMF game at Lewes when they proved to be tremendous ambassadors for their club as well as engaging with all the fans, posing for photos, chatting to anyone and everyone who wanted to contribute to the REMF. They were a lovely set of ladies and will be back there next year.

In fact, here is a challenge....come down to Lewes next year for the REMF and look me out ( I do the PA) and I will introduce you to them and you can make your own mind up

no offence but that last sentence sounds a BIT pimpy

Please check the raffle ticket money after they've left - Palace like a charity help yourself dip (St.John Ambulance).

I'm sure they are all nice girls and did a great job at the REMF game. Good on them for doing that and my post does now seem excessive. However, I still think that the image they portray is wrong. All the heavy make up and fake tan, the sexualisation of the cheer leading role just makes them look, as a troupe, a bit cheap. I'm sure that this isn't a reflection of any of them personally but as a group their image isn't a 'family' one. Having said all this, I think any balanced view goes straight out of the window when I see their CPFC kit.
