I agree Clapham, I get the idea that Wilkins runs a tight line and If you step off it then your out untill you can show enough to the manager to get back on again, if you catch my drift!!

Wilkins is VERY protective of his squad of players, and doesn't like anyone rocking the boat - even players within his squad.

There seemed to have some of that around Christmas with the players issues of transfers and contracts. Looking in from the outside, Wilkins appears to have done very well to re-steady that ship. The players - looking at their body language over recent games - do appear to be 'facing in the same direction' if you see what I mean.

But there's always one - it seems.

Im glad that when you look at the pitch all the players are facing the same way otherwise there would be a record amount of own goals!!

Argus site 10.33pm tonight

A late decision will be made on whether Dean Cox is included in the squad flying north today.

I'd take that with a pinch of salt personally. The Argus does often like to stir things up and this is the sort of comment in the middle of an article that will do this. If he's in the squad - good, he has ability, if he ain't- fine by me as Wilkins is obviously showing whos boss. Thing I like is he doesn't make comments about what happened etc to the press and deals with issues internally
