I hardly think he has endeared himslf to his fellow work colleagues with this latest show of petulance (and not the first time).

But you're just guessing.
I saw him and saw how he interacted with the coaches and the players. All seemed to be well again.

Except the manager said he was not part of the plans for the team this Saturday and was not there.

I suspect Wilkins has the final say on these things (hope so anyway) and he made the comment post match on Tuesday.

Dean White has said "Dean has done his job. He's available for selection - he will be involved." Surely he wouldn't contradict the manager?

A late decision will be made on whether Dean Cox is included in the squad flying north today.

If he said that then no he shouldn't and won't.

Personally I hope he is left out and perhaps goes on an anger management weekend instead.

We can't afford to get rid of him, but if he does continue this lack of discipline then we should transfer him immediately.

Disagree no-one is expendable if that person causes unrest in the rest of the team.

we couldnt really afford to get rid of leon knight, as he was one of our most talented players

fact of the matter was he was a little shit, a troublemaker and someone with an attitude that wasnt befitting of the club - and as such he had to go

It doesnt supprise me one bit that Cox has a supposed ego or attitude problem (call it what you want), All you have to do is see him out in either HH or Brighton on a night out and he walks round like he owns the place!

He spat his dummey and got slapped down for it,so what.If he learned from it where's the problem,if he doesnt then bye bye.In our level of football no player is bigger than the team, save that fer the prem stars.

Will he learn from it though?

I may be wrong but is this not the SECOND time this season that he has been dropped for a dressing room bust up involving team selection?

I like this Wilkins approach of insisting that players respect their team mates and disciplining them when they fall out of line.

I also like the way the players respond to it and apologise and move on.

I think he just wears his heart on his sleeve and to compare him to other players who have been trouble in the past is ridiculous.

I agree Clapham, I get the idea that Wilkins runs a tight line and If you step off it then your out untill you can show enough to the manager to get back on again, if you catch my drift!!

We're starting to build a team with cover in all positions so as I said learn or go.
Harmony in the squad is top priority at any level, play for each other etc etc.
