covered seating

Has anyone seen the football groundguide scottish section .. Falkirk have temporary covered seating .. Would this not have been possible behind the goals at withdean ?

I don't think we could justify the costs.....

Would it attract more people? Maybe, but not a huge amount.

It would be nice though, although it is great not having cover when the sun is out for the standard two games a year.

wouldnt have thought that would be that much extra to cover .. if we had done that to the new east stand i reckon it would sell out . and make a bit more noise to boot !

A roof would mean it is comsidered semi perminant and would require different planning regulations. As we are all PAINFULLY aware this is something to be avoided at all costs!

Just an idea but with MK Dons moving to the new Stadium next season could we not see if we could buy the roof from their temporary East stand (the cowshed) on the cheap?

If you look at the pic of the stand you can see its a temporary structure.. looks a tad like a marquee

From what i remember the away seating at Macclesfield looks suspiciously temporary and that had a roof.
