Coventry Easy Car Parking and Away Pub

They have relaxed there stance on this since they (The Blackhorse) became an away fans only pub. All are welcome. I need to update my web page to reflect this. Thanks.

Always a bad idea that - unless you want to drive away from the ground slower than people walk.

Having sat/stood still for 2 hours, nothing better than a brisk 20 miniute walk back to the car to get the blood circulating again.

I used the Keith-car park as per this thread - £4 was good value and it took only about 3 minutes to get from where the car was parked onto the M6

Should do this sort of thread for every away game.

Was a good parking spot. Unfortunately we took the wrong road to get back to the car and ended up walking alongside a dark dual carrigeway with cars approaching at a fair rate of knots.

Still, no harm done, and found our way back in the end!

BTW, went the canal way. It was just light enough on the way back ( well, none of the kids fell in!), so by the next match, it will def be light enough.

We are trying to improve as we go.
Constructive comments are always welcome so we can move the set up of the car park in the right direction. The aim is to make the away day as enjoyable as possibel (except for the results of course)
