david platt - you heard it here first

This whole thing is a joke, their 'fans' booed the team off last night after their second home draw of the season, funny how they seem to have found on average 4000 more 'fans' than last season..:tosser:

We must have some fans that feel relegation scraps are the pinnacle of what a club can achieve. Notts County finished like 20th and 19th the past 2 seasons, his job was on the line far before Sven or the Arabs came there. It's called ambition, some people want more from a club than sitting in the bottom of the league despite what some people here seem content with.

This was inevitable, he should have just packed his bag when the club changed hands and when Sven came in the penny must have dropped. They were never going to become the high and mighty club they want to be if they have a mediocre manager, who has scrapped in previous seasons to keep them up, at the helm.

This has pretty much paved the way for Sven to walk in as manager.

What the f***? Notts county are 4'th THIS SEASON, who gives a shit about the past.....

This is hysterical. either they have a "big name" lined up., or they have run out of money and are looking to cut and run by blaming the manager.

the results, unfortunately, rather screw this second theory

McParland lost just three of his side's 12 league matches this season and the Magpies are unbeaten at Meadow Lane.
McParland leaves the Magpies in fifth place in the table and just four points behind leaders Bournemouth.

I don't see the big deal.

Notts County easily have the best team in League Two, by a mile.

The likes of Kasper Schmeichel, Johnnie Jackson, Lee Hughes, Karl Hawley, Ben Davies, Matt Ritchie are far better than league two standard.

Should be tearing up the league IMO.

Funny how the Notts V Torquay game was a replica of the Albion game at Yeovil Saturday. Does this mean Slade's in deep doo doo!!!

With those players in the side they should be walking the league so it is hardly suprising that he has got the sack. If we had the same players I would expect to be top of division 1 yet alone division 2, not 4th or 5th.
