Loaded with passion and anger whilst waiting for a train at Hove station after one of the last ever games at the Goldstone (sniff), we noticed a boy on the opposite platform wearing a Manchester United shirt.

20 or 30 of us pointed at him, shouting "Scum! Scum! Scum!"... until he started to cry and his dad led him away.

He was about four years old.

Still makes me laugh now. I mean, really, was it us being cruel or his dad?

NO,I wouldn't do it.
But then if enough money was offered with a paper bag over my head in a town where no one would know me anyway and a few grand minimum.Could I wear an Albion shirt over top ?
No this question is just too much.
But would you wear a ManUre shirt in front of a P****e shirt to save your life ?

Perhaps as an education to other Brightonians in the streets, I would walk around in a Man U shirt with a loudhailer and repeat something like this over and over:

"Look at me, and see how I have become brainwashed by Sky Sports. Please do not ridicule me - pity me for my crippling inability to think for myself. Behold the terrible price of subscription television. I cannot handle a football match without adverts at half time, and I simply cannot watch a game without Martin Tyler telling me whats going on. Look at what has become of me, and heed the warning".

I would then go home, deficate messily on the shirt and burn it in an oildrum. If my Public Service Announcement prevents just ONE individual from straying to that tacky red abomination, then it will have been worth it.

Personally I think the ever-increasing sight of Beckham-inspired Real Madrid shirts on the streets of Brighton trumps a ManUre shirt. Oh how pissed off must the remaining loyal 'Sussex Reds' be to see so many of their number decamping to the Madrid cause. Absolutley bootiful Bernard :lolol:

I dont think I could do it . . . . .although having asaid that I wore a Bayern munich shirt once when Man U played them, just to piss off the man U scumbags in the pub,

Id expect to take a good kicking if spotted so the price would be very high

Interesting question.

How long would you have to wear the shirt?

£50 if I could wear it for an hour at 5am.

£250 during the day.

£750 if one of the NSC "Happy snappers" ( a la Nelson/NSC v Leicester) got a pic and posted it on this site.

I'd do it for £2000 I reckon....but I'd tell everyone I was being paid and they should only try it if they got paid for the humiliation too....

However there would be no amount of money would ever be worth me wearing an All Black or Springbok Jersey....

I guess my priorities lay with my country.... no question
