Could the McLaren team please stay off the track whilst Massa does his lap of honour

That was the best bit of the whole race - watching them celebrate and realise that they didnt do it!!

BRILLIANT

I was genuinely moved to see Hamilton win! Fantastic!

Just needs Calzahge to win next week now!

He will, I have no doubt of it.

Makes the Sports Personality Of The Year voting interesting now...Hamilton, Hoy, Adlington et al (I would include Murray, but he doesn't have a personality ;) ).

Absolutely the right result! Bloody Brilliant!

I do actually feel sad for Massa as he's actually a nice guy, but Ferrari can take a flying jump - for all their skull duggery!!

I have decided now that there is a God, and he was just having FUN. Only He could make it rain just before the end of that race, and come down HARD on the last lap of the season! Wonderful timing :lolol::lolol::lolol:

Well done lewis, is it just me or does it feel like he was against the mcclaren team today, as their ridiculously defensive tactics almost screwed it up for him. Worthy champ, next season is gonna be a blinder. Never thought i'd say this (particuarly in an ad break) but i'll miss the excellent ITV coverage too.

Well done Lewis, the best man won. The first championship of many.

Never a better sight in formula 1 than a crying Ferrari garage. Hated them always will.

Well done Lewis.

A worthy champion!

Ron Dennis had it exactly right - never challenge a Brazilian working for an Italian team especially on the last race of the season in the Brazilians ouwn back yard......who knows what could have happened!

He didn't have to win it AND the race... very English!!

Hats off to DC as well, he's had a good career

The 2s shot in the ferrari garage at the end more than made up hours of tedium in some races . . . it almost makes ammends for the Spa debacle

as for the gleeful overjoyed faces on the podium . . . .Barclaycard ? :yahoo:
