Cottages near Brighton for weekend booking

Hello,

It's a mates 30th and we're looking to book a decent sized cottage nearish to Brighton (ideally one near to a train station as some people will be coming from London) to sleep about 10-12 for two nights. Anyone know of anything, and do you think it'll be difficult to book a place for just two nights?

I knew cottaging was popular in Brighton.

Last summer, my mates hired a cottage in West Witterings, right by the beach and that. Chichester is the nearest train station, but its a little bit of a trek from station to the beach

Yes. Doesn't come up with a lot and thought somebody on here might have done the same and have some handy local knowledge.

Cheers, looks good though they may be a bit small. Would also worry about noise levels.
