Just checked it out Betty Driver( Betty Turpin) is 90 Barbara Knox (Rita) is 77 and I am sure I read that an old long established star is going to die so I would suggest one of those two and also I am sure I read that John Snape murders both Charlotte and Colin Fishwicks mum so they will be 2 of those killed.

I WAS AMAZED to read how much money was spent on make up for the film Planet of the Apes. Surely they could have replaced Helena Bonham-Carter with that woman who plays Gail in Coronation Street and saved a fortune.

I don't think it will be Ashley, he is leaving the Street anyway, why go to the bother of killing him off. I think there have been rumours of John Stape killing off his bunny boiler for some time, the only question is whether it can be blamed on the catastrophe about to hit our screens!

The death of Molly and Tyrone will leave Kevin and Sally to bring up little Jack, as they are the wee mites God-parents...with Kevin sound in the knowledge that he is bringing up his own son.

I thought it was going to be that bloke from the Full Monty because they were talking about him in the paper this morning, and the actor was saying he's thrilled that he can finally get his hair cut, which he wasn't allowed to do before. Which kind of suggests he's being canned?

This is the bloke I mean, from Google, his character is called Eddie Windass.

Is Norris still in it? Can't they blow him up?

I have only just got into Coronation Street. I watched a bit when I did some work for a lady who played an evil grandmother. Some cracking actors and I must say that it is very well scripted. Certainly a lot better than the other British soaps.

I wish they would get rid of Rita and Dev but I fear it will be just Ashley,Nick,Molly and Eileen.
