The question I have is: where did all the Liverpool supporters who left early go? Back to sit in their coaches before the depressing ride to Merseyside?

Or did they just wrap themselves up, all snug and warm in their half-and-half scarves and head back to their houses in Sussex?

Asking for a friend.

Say it during every game at the moment but THAT was the best I’ve ever seen us play
Me too. It finally pushed Peterborough away under Poyet off the top spot! Our football was breathtaking today, start to finish. Sensational goals too. Battered. We absolutely battered the PL champions.

We were just incredible today. For the full 93 ish mins. I don’t think I have seen us play so well against that level of opposition. I don’t care how people say Liverpool were sh!t it was because we made them that way.

Oh my I can not believe just how f***ing brilliant we are.
Absolutely this. Very easy to say Liverpool were shit. No, not at all. We made them so. They simply couldn’t cope. We are an astonishingly good side currently.

They were hanging on all of the first 45mins, the only thing missing in their half was our TENT and a CAMPfire!.

Can we have a thread where we can enjoy the Liverpool comments?
Hopefully there will be a fan that creates a nice vlog of their memorable day at the seaside.
Anyone got a link to that bald Irish guy that does the vlog watching the game from home?

I have supported Brighton and hove Albion for 50 years this year. I can honestly say that was the best performance I have ever seen a Brighton side produce.

let’s remember who we were playing…whatever their form!

that was assured, commanding, exciting , ruthless, entertaining, and sheer brilliance. NEVER has the chant, “we’re f***ing brilliant” been more deserved

Liverpool we’re blown away….let’s just take that statement in! Liverpool , probably pound for pound the best team English football have produced in its history, and we, Brighton and hove Albion, blew them away today.

3-0 flattered them…..Mitoma is IMHO the best winger we have ever had. He is brilliant!

how magnificent was Sarmiento when he came on….solly. Just awesome…. In fact 100% performance from every player. Ferguson is a beast

just wow.

David Gilmour's armpit
What a ride! From the late 60's, watching us stumbling along the lower echelons, yet enjoying the performances by the Napiers, the Duffy (Alan) and Eddie 'S Club' Spearitt - what a throw he had!
The heady days of the 70's, culminating in a wonderful trip to Newcastle, to see Mullery's blue and white army finally reach the promised land.
The steady (yet seemingly inevitable decline), but somehow reaching the FA Cup Final.....and Smith didn't score.....followed by the (again, seemingly inevitable) trouncing in the replay, and relegation.
Finding the way forward again, only to be thwarted at Wembley (again!) by Notts County,,,,,followed by a dreadfull, dreadful decline.
Losing our home.....falling faster than a hangry falcon, until we languish at the arse end of the heap....92nd place...out of 92.
Salvation on that fateful day, and our slow, steady climb back into the league.....Withdean....loved it/hated it, but wouldn't have been without it.
The Amex; something I daren't dream that could happen, happened.....and our rise through the ranks, again (inevitably) foiled at several attempts to regain our place in the promised land.
Yet, we did, and we stuttered and faltered our way through the first few seasons, not really looking like we truly 'belonged', but rarely in serious danger of slipping back down.
Now? Look what we've become - seriously - a team to be reckoned with, at the highest level, and today making one of the best teams look bang average, besides tonking them 3 -0.
It's been one hell of a ride, thus far, and I feel utterly privileged to have been able to be on it - long may it continue and I genuinely dream of us playing in Europe.
Is this dream inevitable? Quite possibly......quite possibly.
