Can't see the majority of our fans ever welcoming coppell back.at the end of the day if it hadn't been for the dodgy spell we had just after he left we wouldn't b in the scramble for the play off's,i know we weren't playing fantasticly before he left but we were getting results. As for Taylor i think he was very lucky to have inheritied Micky's team ok he steadied the ship but was never really impressed with him and of the signings he made only Junior Lewis really worked and of all the managers that have left he was the one that never really bothered me when he did.

I have a great deal of respect for the integrity of each of our last three managers. I would welcome them back in this order:

Adams - come back anytime you like, mate
Coppell - amazingly almost managed to keep a 2nd Div team in Div 1. A heroic effort, and despite his departure, I'd give him a job if Mcghee walked tomorrow and Coppell came knocking
Taylor - better than most other options, and no doubt a good coach, but somehow I don't think he ever really belonged to us. I'd hesitate before welcoming him back.

How did Coppell get us relegated?
Hinshelwood took us on a diabolical start to our Div 1 campaign and all Coppell did was pick up the pieces and I think you will find that his form over the time we were in Div 1 with SC in charge was mid table.
I would like to compare McGoo and Coppells record in charge of us to see who is the better man,and I bet its not McGoo

How did Coppell get us relegated?

From Dec 26th right through to Feb 8th we only got 1 point so leaving aside Hinshelwood's record a victory in any one of those 5 matches would have been enough to keep us up.
