brighton, actually
why is he stalling?

does he think reading will up their offer?

or maybe BHA will, as a golden handcuffs job?

i hope DK sets a deadline on him to decide, for the
good of everyone.

my thoughts are he can't be happy here, despite
current success, or he wouldn't be 'having talks'
in the first place...?:censored:

"If we had the ground it wouldn't be an issue"

So Archer, Bell Endi, Prescott, Brighton and Hove City Council (the world biggest f***ing joke?), half a dozen Tories, a landlord and a few bat lovers have done us out of a manager.

Or......you knew when you were appointed what the ground was like. How many teams get over 6800 every week in the 2nd dicision? Have you seen the national hockey stadium in MK? Realised Bury had to have a buy a seat campaign to survive? Heard about Oldham and Notts County? Were your eyes open when we played Barnet?

For too long the ground has been an issue. Yes it's shit. Yes it's probably the worst in the league. Yes England is the most red tape obsessed "best not upset anyone" nation in the world. But the team that played on that ground won more trophies in two seasons than I ever saw won for decades at the Goldstone. That one line almost makes me wish Coppell would f*** off now.

Very true! We've hardly suffered at Withdean - it has been a real fortress. It's just the club can't grow on such small crowds!

You can't blame Coppell for speaking to Reading tho. Even if you are happy where you are you still owe it to yourself to know what else is on the table - if only for curiousity's sake!

Possibly one of the most absolutely spot-on quotes I can remember reading on here.
