Rivalry is no good if you have no rival, at various times over the last 10 years or so it looked like Palace might lose theirs, thanks to today the chances of that happening have diminished somewhat. Falmer is yet to be built, the site is still a muddy field beside an ugly university, I look forward to renewing the rivalry at our new home in just a few years. Until then, thanks to the Palace fans for their kind words and support in our battle...there are times when even the bitterest of rivalries has to be laid aside, this was one of them.

I look forward to renewing hostilities (in a footballing sense) at the earliest opportunity.

Not going to happen Frank Bromley Council are a bit like LDC!

Except the up your arse Tories, but it's a dreadful waste. I guess they also don't like Croydon Council making money if Palace were to move to the real Crystal Palace, blimey if they did that I might even go and watch (I always need a good laugh :D)

not all Tories are like that, Frank.

One of the Lewes Tory councillors said he was going to wear his Albion strip to the nextcouncil meeting according to the Argus.

Believe me the Bromley ones are ! Regualr Daily Mail readers the lot of them. They have been trying to flog off Crystal Palace Arena for a long time mainly to turn into not so cheap housing. They are convinced that a football club there would be a dreadful mistake. In many ways Palace are even more limited in choice for a new ground that we were.

Cheers to the Scummers - those that post here and Trilby and Gosling who looked after Lush and Edna on Falmer Day 2004.
