Bong wasn’t a Wigan player when they were in the Premier League, he joined Feb 2015 and left at the end of the season as they were relegated from The Championship.

Were absolutely amazed that (apart from Knocky and Leo) that no player last night had Premier League experience before this season. (I think I’m right on that one?)

In England, that's about right.

But Ryan, Bruno, Duffy (a few times), Propper, Izquierdo and Gross have all had top flight experience in Spain, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany.

Yes, I realise that, and of course players from overseas, with quality, are often not as expensive as some experienced Premier League players who are in the market.

Amazing this is even an argument. Take out Bayern, Dortmund, Barca and Madrid (s). The rest is only marginally if at all better than the championship.
