Any advice from our resident astronomers as to the best time to view this comet. It is apparently visible to the naked eye even in London.
I've seen photos taken at midnight and some just before dawn. This was taken near Gloucester cathedral.

I follow @virtualastro on Twitter - great info re ISS, Starlink and anything else up there..................it's basically a sunrise/sunset thing as far as I can tell, throughout July.

The local pictures that i have seen are taken between 02:30 - 05:30 . Need to look north . You can load nightsky applications on a smart phone for free and they will show you the direction to look.

If anyone is interested then looking south you can see Jupiter, Saturn and Mars ....

It's now in the bottom right of the constellation of Ursa Major.

Yes spotted that. You can just see the comet with the naked eye but we managed to focus our binoculars on it.

Can't be Ulloa's penalty, it's only 54,000,000km from earth.

Looked out just after eleven tonight. just follow the plough down towards the north/ north west horizon,
