Come on Rangers!!!

Glasgow I've only been to once, and it wasn't for very long, and it was a long time ago, so I'm no expert, but I was generally under the impression it was a disgrace. Why do you like it then?

Glasgow is by some distance Britain's finest city. It's got everything (from the country's finest urban architecture to a thoroughly vibrant music scene), but in particular it has a spirit and a character all its own. A superb place.

I don't live there (although I do work there, in one of its dodgiest parts - Nitshill), nor do I come from there. But being around it fills me with the joy of life.

Celtic and Rangers are far far FAR bigger SCUM than United will ever be. I f***ing hate the pair of them more than any other club - including Palace, Portsmouth, Man U and Chelsea

Well you're a bit weird then! ;)

I suppose we all have our opinions and mine is that I wouldn't support Manure in a game if you paid me a million pound, whether it was against Chelsea, Celtic, Rangers, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Roma, AC Milan, Bayern Munich or anyone else for that matter.

Well, two points really. Firstly, I have spent about 4 hours in Glasgow 10 years ago, so I'm not going to disagree with your assessment of it. It would be interesting to see what it's like these days. Secondly, any stats or figures you've got are for GREATER Manchester, and to be fair that is dire. I was basing my positive opinions of Manchester on the city alone.

The city is average Newcastle is by far the best northern city

Are you serious? I'm actually astonished two people have come to such a strong defence of it. As I said, I haven't a clue, so I can only presume you're right. I'll add it to the 'places to visit' list now:thumbsup:

I've never been to Glasgow so probably shouldn't even be sticking my oar in but I have always been led to believe that Glasgow is one of the best cities on this island.

for God and Ulster !

I'm from Ulster and honestly I'd prefer if neither of them won for a change, thanks. I've a feeling you're not, and might never actually have been there... but I can assure you that 1/3rd of Ulster almost certainly doesn't agree with you (cause its not in the UK).

Firstly that's your opinion, which is fair enough. And the point I'm making is that we should all be allowed our opinions. Last night, sadly, that wasn't the case.

As for Celtic and Rangers doing nothing bad to football, what about Manchester city centre only last Wednesday for starters?:lolol:

All about opinions mate and as usual ours differ!! You are asking a bit much though when you ask to exercise your right to support ManUre on a Brighton Website.

You may as well knock on a Jewish persons house and ask if you can put a framed picture of Hitler on their mantelpiece!!

I assume you are talking about Rangers fans last week in Manchester. Surely that can only improve the state of Manchester. ;) Those lot will be applying for jobs on DIY SOS soon.

I like Manchester and Leeds. That's about it for up north. Oh, and strangely, I don't mind Sheffield. I can't explain that though. I also like Nottingham, Bristol, and anywhere down in the west country.

I won't tell you where I hate, because I could write a book on some of the DIVES this country has to offer!

What about you? Where's your FAVOURITES (bar Newcastle)?

I like Kidderminster!!!
