Anyone else hooked on this ?

Before people start dismissing it as another cooking programme, it's actually something quite different.

It should be rubbish, but it's one of the funniest things on TV at the moment, with the very clever Eurotrash style sarcastic voice-over.

Its amazing!

Ive been in love with this programme for AGES!!!

second best daytime show after Coach Trip!

Wasn't quite as good when it started, but since they've started camping it up and employed the odd absolute nut job as a contestant - it's quite brilliant.

I like the extended format too.

It is qualla.

I had it on series record - but it was recording shows from all the C4 channels - and it's on all over the place. I found I was seeing the same shows, or series of shows quite often so gave up.

I much prefer the '5 contestants, each with a half hour show' format, over the '4 contestants in a single hour show' setup.

They've not made any new ones for a while have they?

Have to agree the narration is spot on ... it really shows us at our best / worst; snobs trying to out snob others, people trying to be something they're not and some good old boys really trying to be lads but with class which never quite wrks, absorbing way to waste an hour of your life ... brilliant

It wasn't till I started reading up on it that they ran the longer format during the daytime.

I presume that's what they've started showing on Saturdays ?

Love it, although the celebrity version is preferable to the prole one :)

I do struggle when they say "celebrity", what is it Dane Bowers ..... that troll that looks 80, whatever her name is and someone I've never sen before ... celebrity my arse!

Now why not five footie fans Palarse, Millwall, Albion, Portsmouth and West Ham

A pukka pie, served on a bed of bandages with a warm wound dressing!

Enjoy watching the omnibus on a sunday while recovering from hangover and tucking into a good roast. Perfect no-brainer viewing!

Absolutely spot on!

Problem is, before you know it, you've wasted two-and-a-half hours watching.

It's banned in our house now as it's so addictive!

I'm gonna buck the trend here and say that this show does my tits in. I've watched it once, and it featured five people who I wouldn't have in my house, let alone feed them. And I've got better things to do than watch five buttock-clenching irritants bitching over a piece of soggy roast dog. So I do something more worthwhile, like become play the highly addictive Bejewelled Blitz.

Sadly, CDWM is also compulsive viewing in our house. :(

It's quality, but I do think it has a shelf life for the viewer and I think, having consumed 30 or so episodes over the last year or so, that I've had my fill, and will now only watch it if there's nowt else worth watching.
