They brought a lot of fun when I was growing up.

Although I do feel that some of your obsessive desire to produce obituaries is a bit 'Crodo'

Bloody hell. Same age as me. Played his last gig in 16th May and looking forward to retiring to Spain on Thursday. What an abrupt end. His poor wife! RIP. I'm sure his music was a guilty pleasure at parties for many on NSC.

Colin's fusion of English pop with Spanish flamenco was ground-breaking, as demonstrated in his hits "Do The Conga", "El Vino Collapso" and, of course, the unforgettable "I Speaka Da Lingo".

One of the first acts I saw live, in the Batley Frontier Club (ex. Batley Varieties) aged about 16...

(Where ^ that video was filmed!)

RIP
