Coldplay are one of my favourite groups

Timberlake has beaten the blacks at their own game and has come out with one of the best RnB in albums in recent years.

I'l go with Coldplay, just.

What is all this sudden respect for Justin Timberlake all of a sudden? I appreciate other people are entitled their opinion but personally I think he is a dick and don't like his music at all. Maybe I am just jealous coz he got to grope Kylies arse :lolol:

Don't think much of Coldplay either.

Didn't think much to Coldplay then go the albums and they are better than I thought when I saw them at Glastonbury last year. Cannot stand the lake though, crap music.

Not really a fan of Coldplay, not my type of music but Justin Timberlake is pure class, he's released 4 singles all of them superb, and his new track Senorita is great.

Used to hate Timberlake when he was in *nsync, mainly because of his stupid f***ing hair and the fact he was boning Britney, although I did actually quite like *nsync, 'Girlfriend' was class.

Haven't listened the whole album but like what I've heard so far. Just wish he wouldn't try *so* hard to be Michael Jackson, it's an insult to the great man.

Coldplay? :censored:

Timberlake dances like Usher and sings like Jackson and Usher.

He's more Usher than Jackson.

I remeber back in the day Usher got criticised for being a Jackson biter but has now established himself as himself, same old shit.

agreed, but put it this way he's made better use of the Neptunes than 90% of black artists, plus only about 4 songs off the album are produced by them.

On a side note Neptunes new album Neptunes presents the clones is CRAP. Pharell has got lazy and he CAN't SING (case in point "frontin")

Don't get me wrong, I really like his stuff. 'You make me wanna' was superb and '8701' is a wicked album, but you can't say that JT is copying him when Usher is obviously inspired by MJ.

I wouldn't describe Usher as an MJ rip-off, nobody could get close, but there's no denying there are tangible similarities in his act, his dancing in particular.

Timberlake is possibly one of the worst singers I've ever heard, especially live. When he reaches for high notes it's like fingers down a blackboard. In fact when I hear him struggling I burst out loud laughing. Absolutely pathetic.
But then, like 99% of pop artists today, it's not his musical 'talent' that's got him where he is, is it?

All R n B is commercial shite and he fits into that category full on.
