Is it a coincidence that the 3 teams promoted from this league in the last 3 years have been managed by a British manager who knows the English game and division

Reading- McDermott
Southampton- Adkins
West Ham- Allardyce

Cardiff- Mackay
Hull- Bruce
Palace- Holloway

Burnley- Dyche
Leicester- Pearson
Qpr- Redknapp

The problem is having to pay them 'British' wages. That said it took Pearson, Dyche & Mackay a lot of attempts, and QPR spent about £5bn on olayers

Not this again.

How many of the teams relegated from the division have been managed by a Brit? All of them I would guess. By that logic we better stick with Sami given our current predicament. Completely flawed.

A little bit of a coincidence, but the main reason is that most of the managers in the division have been British. Of the teams relegated, how many of those managers have been British?

Dyche got Burnley promoted in his first full season in charge, and only his second full season as a manager.

If we'd signed Ulloa in summer 2012 instead of January 2013 we'd have gone up with a Uruguayan manager.

Well the odds are a bit stacked to be fair, it maybe that we are in England ? It might have been a coincidence if they'd all been Mongolian!
