Just watching ssn it said blackburn have bought in neil mcdonald in to replace ince's coaches as new manager like to bring in there own people,so why the hell do we keep the same faces at the club time and time again? not since micky's 1st spell have we bought new people in other than chapman! is a joke and i hope when micky time is up if it's in a month or 5 years dick doesn't insist on this jobs for the boys

Managers who've been at a club before like to work with the people they know, while managers who haven't, may like to try and maintain some kind of continuity for the players by retaining existing staff. It's quite simple...not to mention rather fortunate for old Bob Booker...

Possible reason is sack all your backroom staff and you have to pay off their contracts. Clubs earning millions from tv rights probably can afford to do this on a regular basis whereas we can't.

yer obviously but your struggle to find many lower league teams that have the same coaching staff they did in 2000

I'm sure that some of our managers didn't get a choice as Dick insisted that the backroom staff had to be kept on.
