There's a fecking volcano spewing out more muck than the world's population could produce in a lifetime and still people are going on about CO2 emissions.

What the hell difference does it make?

volcanic eruptions actually cool the atmosphere due to aerosols released which reflect solar radiation back out to space. when Mt. Pinatubo erupted in 1991 global mean temperatures dropped by about 1 degree over the next 2 years. we put up so much more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere than volcanoes and without major eruptions like pinatubo the climate situation would likely be a lot worse. so you should give a crap about our emmissions!

ive studied both sides of this argument, and am on the fence.

this is worth a view for some....yep, some debunked some, and some have debunked the official line too....its a bit of a swamp.
The Great Global Warming Swindle

the bottom line is that the govs dont care as they get loads of money from oil companies, and we dont even need oil for energy. green tax is mainly about money off the general public.

the big corps get away scott free.

why was the planet warmer when dinosaurs were about? and the ice caps are hardening at the south pole. climate change is real, global warming is not.

We are at the end of an ice age so the ice caps will continue to melt and teperatures will continue to rise I don't think many scientists would deny this. The issue is the speed of change, climatic changes that may have happened over centuries or millenia appear to be happening in a couple of generations, the numerous satalite images of receding glaziers and polar ice is evidence of this.
